Making changes to a villa
Your villa is yours to occupy, but it belongs to the village. You must therefore get agreement from Management for any changes you make to your villa. Failure to get agreement can result in your work being ordered to be reversed at your expense. Generally, works that do not adversely affect the structural integrity of the villa or adversely alter the look of the villa relative to the villages overall look, will be approved.
Schedule 4 of the Deed, rule:
- 3. We must provide keys for locks of doors or other openings of the Villa. You must return all keys for locks of doors or other openings of the Villa to the Manager on the sale or other termination of your Estate.
- 4. No locking device may be altered or fitted to the Villa’s front door or security door without our approval. This requirement will protect your interests where an emergency occurs and we have to use a master key to enter the Villa.
