Grapevine NEWS – 27 May 2014

3in1 Soil: The next delivery of the soil improver will be to the even numbers in The Terrace and around the clubhouse end of The Ramble to the cross road where it meets The Avenue. This will take place on Tuesday 3rd June at 9.30am. Volunteers will be needed to help spread, your help will be greatly appreciated. The remainder of the village will be covered on Tuesday 10th June.

Spa: has now been ordered and Manager is organizing necessary works to the pump room and spa area.

Fire muster point numbers: distributed to the majority of residents, this should be put onto the fire information sheet that was distributed to all residents a couple of months ago.

Telstra: have now completed all the recabling to the village and also rewired the whole Main distribution board in the clubhouse.  Hopefully this will solve all the crackling on the lines that some residents have been experiencing and other issues.

Beautician: Good news for the village, Julie our beautician has agreed to come back to the village after the swift departure of Debbie.  Please support her as if you don’t use her we will lose her.

Finance: The 2014-15 budget is still in dispute and negotiations with Lend Lease continuing however budget meeting still going ahead on Friday 30th May AGM as scheduled.

Emergency Evacuation Program: At this point over half the village has undergone their trial evacuation. The remainder, including the clubhouse, should be completed by the end of the first week of June.  A big thanks to all residents who so willingly co-operate in this program.
