A SPA, A JACUZZI, A HOT TUB?  Call it what you will, here is the latest report on the replacement:

HV Grapevine NEWS – 17 March 2014

SPA PROGRESS

This is a progress note to inform you that the non-compliant spa has now been removed from the village.  Alan Stirling and I met with the spa consultant who is dealing with our Department of Health (DOH) application at a spa supplier in Osborne Park and looked at various spas that meet all the necessary DOH and Retirement Village requirements.

Once the consultant has informed us which spa(s) we can proceed with, that also meets with our needs and fits the village spa area, we will take a few residents of various physical capabilities to have a look and try out (dry access) the spa before we proceed further. In general the Spas we have chosen from allow for use by up to 6 persons with ample foot room in the centre area, are non-slip and low enough for easier access or the use of low simple firm fitted steps if required. Handrails will be provided and we are trying to colour match to the pool. Once selected a photo of the preferred spa(s) will be displayed on the Notice Board.
